Before Kane was WWE’s resident fire-fueled Superstar that particular title belonged to Bam Bam Bigelow. He had flames on his trunks. He had flames tattooed on the side of his head. And when he felt like dressing up a bit he added these gauntlets to his ring gear.

SUPERSTAR OF THE MONTH

Before Brock could compete in the 2003 Royal Rumble match, there was one giant hurdle he had to overcome. Needless to say, it isn’t easy to make mince meat of a Superstar like Big Show, but determined to enter the 30 man brawl, he disposed of The World’s Largest Athlete with a devastating F-5. If anything, his first victory only fired him up for his second, because with war in his veins and destruction in his heart, he tore into the ring—and a good chunk of the roster—ultimately tossing ‘Taker over the top rope, and becoming the 16th Rumble winner.

Unfortunately, the celebration was short-lived, as Mark Henry stormed the ring moments later, lashing the Celtic Warrior with a belt as a shocking precursor to their match at Extreme Rules.

Last night’s Raw was a red-letter episode all-around, but we were partial to this moment, in which Fandango capped off a dance-off with the Great Khali by toppling the giant to the canvas. In WWE, the ordinary events of day to day life suddenly become something entirely different. In the real world, birthdays are a time of joy, celebration and the reflection of turning another year older. In WWE, they often turn into an excuse to dump cake on your fellow Superstar. Such was the case with Damien Sandow, who attempted to interrupt John Cena’s birthday bash in Notthingham, England, and received a faceful of birthday treats for his efforts. Luckily Cena blew out the candles first. That beard looks super flammable.

Awesome Shot of the Night!

Last night in London, Raw entertained its rowdiest crowd since the history-making day after ‘Mania event at the IZOD Center. And, while the fans ate up every bit of the action, they really came alive for this bout, in which Dolph Ziggler took on Chris Jericho with a slot in the Triple Threat Title Match at Extreme Rules on the line. Both athletes delivered a stellar performance, which was augmented by the entire O2 arena doing the wave and an impromptu rendition of Fandango’s theme. It was everything we love about WWE compressed into one match!
